BE THE MATCH "OVER THE EDGE" August 2nd In honor of our beloved dancer, CJ Starr, members of the dance community including Lamont Stewart, Jesse Williams, Donna Collins and CJ's wife, Gwen Golden, are "going over the edge" on August 2 for blood cancer cure. Each participant needs to raise $850 to qualify for repeling down a 13-story building to raise money and awareness. The elegant upper hall @St John's Byzantine Hall was aglow with the joy of celebrations of love that abounded! ▪ ▪ There was the marriage proposal by Sam Dees to his lady love Chonita Brown! ▪ ▪ Over 100 years of Marriage Anniversaries represented by: Clayton & Shay Cox Eric & Lorreta Porter Niccole & "BigDaddy" Bowles Paul & Debra Ross Archie & Debra James! ▪ ▪ The amazing vocal styling of "Lady Jazz" Ki Allen's Birthday Tribute! ▪ ▪ The awesome dance Verve of the "Red~Rendezvous Proxy Birthday Dance" Ladies: Debra Ross, Sandi "T", Thelma Williams and Cookie Proctor! ▪ ▪ Satin & Soul Dancers of Pittsburgh, PA showed up & showed out! ▪ ▪ Akron2ClevelandConnection, Rhythm Ryders & 330Akron showed Mad Love! ▪ ▪ All the Ballroom & Steppers groups of Greater Cleveland sent their Reps'! ▪ ▪ Cincinnati, Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta & Florida was in the House!! ▪ ▪ DJ Paul Ross "The Boss" kept the floor Smooth & Full! ▪ ▪ Chef Anthony of "Brothers on the Move" Personal Chef & Catering Plated & Presented his delectable cuisine of: Turkey bacon wrapped Sweet Potato & Chicken breast kabobs, Summer vegetable Tian & Fresh Gazpacho! But! Especially ALL the Friends who braved the Summer RainStorm, in their many Shades of RED, to come Celebrate with me this Milestone of #55 years! I am renewed with sense of love, insight, curiosity, imagination and purpose! Although I have ran toward this thing called "aging", with energy, excitement & anticipation, this birthday is personally very significant because I have now outlived my siblings who passed away before reaching this so-called milestone. I am grateful for life, family and friends!
