"So...I find out that Team Movement's First Thursday stepper set where I DJ went from celebrating my birthday with 3 other Piscean ladies into a surprise on me! I walk in the venue to be greeted by the hugs and cell phone paparazzi flashes from new and old steppers of Cleveland, Akron, Detroit, Toledo & Columbus...surpised to see Milwaukee's DJ Shorty Smooth playing music and Atlanta's Kazemde of Think Black there as well as my family sitting there...ON A THURSDAY NIGHT. ha They ALL knew about this....EXCEPT ME! how did THAT happen? LOL
I found out that night that my Detroit dance family also was showing some major love with raising funds on my behalf and that there is a
that is set up in my honor Michelle Mason's Kidney Transplant where people from across the US has generously made contributions. I was continually showered with love, hugs, gifts and money all night.
A lot don't know my full story, it's a lot to tell. I certainly would love to talk about it in detail one day... but right here and right now, from the bottom of my heart, I want to say THANK YOU to all, whatever your part, for making my 42nd birthday so special.
