The Cleveland drive will be held on Saturday, July 27th at Luke Easter Park. The Akron drive date and location is to be announced. This letter is a call to action to ask for your assistance with the funding of the drives. Supply expenses that are needed to be covered are as follows: Tent Tables Giveaways T-shirts Water Banners/signs/correspondences Any of the funding received that surpasses the costs of the above items to be used for events, will go to C.J. and Gwen to cover some of their expenses. Even when we know our loved one is gravely ill, it still comes as a shock and saddens us so very deeply. We echo all the thoughts and prayers and stand in agreement to support Gwen and his family. We also ask that each one of us Honor C.J.'s wish, which is to not only become aware of blood diseases and it's particularly devasting effect on African-Americans, but take just a moment to be tested and to be added to the Bone Marrow Donor listing!
